Grass-fed beef absolutely cannot get mad cows disease.
The leading theory is that cattle contact BSE by being fed meat
and bone meal made from cattle and other animals that have been
infected with BSE and other diseases. Herbivores are being turned
into cannibals. The by-products that feed-lot cattle can include:
horses, pigs, cows (many diseased), chicken manure, chicken feathers,
stale candy, stale chewing gum in the aluminum wrappers and aerobically
digested municipal garbage.
Grass-fed cows eat what Mother Nature intended for them to eat:
"Grass", which includes "grass", clover, alfalfa,
wild plants and stored grasses including hay, haylage, and grass
silage, NOT grain, soy, corn silage and synthetic vitamins.

Less Risk of E-Coli.
Grain-feeding promotes the growth of dangerous e-coli that is
more likely to pass through your stomach and infect you colon.
When cattle are grass-fed, the amount of dangerous e-coli decreases
dramatically. Grass-fed animals live in clean pastures where higher
levels of sanitation also greatly reduce the risk of e-coli. |
