Not all grass-fed beef is the same.
There is a difference.
Choose Braaton Beef

Grain is not natural to what cows ate for thousands of years. Cows ate grass. You want to be sure that the beef you purchase is coming from a cow that was fed grass from conception to consumption. "Grass" includes grass, clover, alfalfa, wild plants and stored grasses including hay, haylage, and grass silage, NOT grain, soy, or corn silage.

Some farmers advertise grass-fed beef even though the cows eat grain 30 or more days of their life. Other farmers claim their cows are fed grass 98-99% of their lives, which means 1-2% of their diet consists of "cake" supplements. "Cake" supplements are made out of grain and 1-2% means the average cow will eat 200-300 lbs. of grain a year!

Grain fattens the cow up un-naturally, diminishes the nutritional value of the meat and milk, and changes the quality of their fat from "good" fats to "bad" fats. To learn more, I encourage everyone to get a copy of PASTURE PERFECT, by Jo Robinson. She has done an amazing and thorough job of reporting the facts and research about our meat industry.

Rotational Grazing. Our cows do not stay in one area they are constantly moved so that they can graze in new pastures.
